Knowing your critical point

Critical point – what is this? Is it something like a difficult, tough, or an important point? Or, is it something that only exists on paper and not in reality? We will uncover it today. But before diving deep into this topic, I can assure you that knowing this critical point clearly is extremely rewarding!

            Very often, we mix critical points with difficult points. We think the sense behind critical and difficult are the same. When we go through a difficult time, we often name it a “critical time!” We say, “this topic is extremely critical, as I still couldn’t solve it.” This clearly shows our inability to differentiate between critical and difficult.

             Critical is something which is game-changing. Critical is something which is a point, two sides of which point situations are completely different. This is connected with a phase-changing possibility. For instance, the CIU (Critical Intensive Unit) of hospitals. The patients who are admitted in this unit have a possibility to die anytime. Maybe their last breath is near, that’s why the unit is critical. I will give one of my personal examples. My office is 20 minutes away from my house. If I start before 7:30 AM in the morning to go to my office, I can reach there by 20 minutes. But if I start after 7:30 AM, I need almost an hour to reach there because of the traffic caused by other office-goers and school kids. For me, 7:30 AM is a critical point of time to go to the office.
           Now, we all have some critical points in our life. Two sides of which points the situation will be completely different. It can be team management, working on a project with your boss, or designing something with your partner. We must all know the critical points to get a favorable outcome. In fact, in our fitness also, we should know our critical points so that we can grab the best one for us.
